An antique children's picture book about a group of five Kewts: bald little people who take a tour, written in verse, of the 48 United States with their tour guide Sammy, a short, bald version of Uncle Sam. There's Kewt Pat (Irish), Kewt Sandy (Scottish), Kewt Ah San (Chinese), Kewt Hans (Dutch), and Kewt Sambo (African).
The binding is loose with several taped pages at the gutter. Heavy dark ink at the front endpaper and owner name gift inscription at front endpaper. The pages are mostly clean with a few scattered pencil marks. Red illustrated pages. Rubbed cover edges and some pencil markings. Poor to fair condition.
