Light blue with a fancy gilt title and shield emblem. This is the student yearbook for Washington High School in Portland, Oregon for 1919. The original Commencement for 1919 was left at the inside cover (four pages including the front and rear cover). Inner stapled wraps. Small edge tears and a large bottom corner crease to the front. Some mild soil and moderate foxing at the rear cover. Secure text block with clean pages. Includes ads at the front rear sections and the inside covers. Softcover book, about 9-1/2 x 6 with sixty pages plus ads.
 
The original school burned to the ground in 1922 and a new building was opened (at the same location) in 1924. The school merged with Monroe High School in 1978 to become Washington-Monroe High School. Rare Portland, Oregon history!
