Walter R. Brooks was an American editor and author best known for his children's book series "Freddy the Pig" which took place on the Bean Farm in upstate New York. In addition to the 26 Freddy books, Brooks created the character Mr. Ed the Talking Horse.
It's the story of how young Fred Thompson works himself out of an inferiority complex and develops a charmingly domineering personality. It is a humorous fantasy novel about a dream girl that comes alive! This scarce title is the only adult fiction novel written by the author of the famous "Freddy the Pig" series.
