The four Wistmore children were descendants of the unfortunate Acadians. After the death of their parents, they were forced from their home and earned their livelihood by doing whatever opportunity offered. Among their only belongings was a piece of paper bearing a mysterious code which had been handed down from father to son for generations.

Reddish brown hardcover with black title. Larger water stain to bottom corner boards and to jacket as well. Shifted spine with clean pages and one corner tip chip. Nice front jacket with some red water stain marks to rear bottom jacket. 8 x 5-1/2 with 248 pages. Scarce with jacket.
