Originally published in London in 1788 when Necker was reentering French politics and was Minister of Finance. Mary Wollstonecraft translated this originally French work. English Edition.

Brown leather with gilt spine title over black. Very lightly bowed cover with mild rubbing and some few worm bug holes/surface wear marks. General light page foxing and heavy browned pages at endpapers. Small bookworm holes at last rear pages/rear cover affecting a few words. Small text with clean pages. and creasing at rear endpapers. 6-3/4 x 4-1/4 with 230 pp. plus two. Rare!
