This was Bing’s first “moon” song to make it in a movie. Sam Coslow and Arthur Johnston composed it for College Humor (1933). Bing sings it to Mary Carlisle twice during the course of the film. The first time is at a dance and the reprise comes when Mary Carlisle thinks Bing - playing a professor - is leaving her college.
