Tyndall was a prominent Irish 19th-century physicist. His scientific fame arose in the 1850s from his study of diamagnetism. Later he made discoveries in the realms of infrared radiation and the physical properties of air. This book is a collection of his writings ranging from personal recollections of Thomas Carlyle to Atoms and Ether Waves.
