Black leather with all edges gilt and a gilt title. The outer spine edge is lightly rubbed and there are a few tears at the spine ends. Small gutter end tear at the front endpaper (the front and rear inside very front are slightly bunched up and the two endpapers are pulled somewhat ... publisher thing, otherwise good). Secure text block with clean pages. About 8-3/4 x 6 with 576 pages. Illustrated. Scarce.
