TWO VOLUME SET. Vol. II is missing spine cloth and Vol. I has a three-inch chip at the bottom of the spine (can still see VOL. 1 #) and cracking at spine edges and corner tips exposed/rubbed. Covers are slightly loose on Volume 2 (rear cover holding on by two strings). Black half leather set with cloth boards, gilt spine title, and marbled endpapers. Clear text pages with light to moderate foxing/page toning. Fair to Good minus condition with sound text blocks. About 10-1/2 x 7-1/2 x 2 with 1440 pages (total) plus maps. Illustrated.
