James Grover Thurber was an American cartoonist, author, humorist, journalist, playwright, and celebrated wit. He was best known for his cartoons and short stories, published mainly in The New Yorker and collected in his numerous books. This is a collection of essays that James Thurber wrote for the New Yorker from the thirties and forties.
The inner joint at the inside cover is lightly cracked and there is another mild binding crack at the center. Nice clean text pages with a mild top spine shift and light soil at the top outer edge. The jacket is in nice condition overall with a clear protective cover.
