The Winning of the West is a multi-volume work by Teddy Roosevelt in which he offers his account of the story of U.S. westward expansion and settlement. 
 
Half leather with marbled boards and top edge gilt. Secure binding with clear text and the outer spine joints are cracked. The spine leather is chipped and missing pieces. Small piece of the top spine leather has been re-glued and there are some damp stains and a small removed sticker. About 6-3/4 x 4-1/4 with 331 pages. Fair condition.
